FACE 9

Brian Campbell measured the East-West diameter of the hole to be 16.05 mm, which would equate to.63188976". The intended code was .63" and the overflow was about 1/500th of an inch.

The .63 progression goes:

.63, 1.26, 1.89, 2.52, 3.15, 3.78, 4.41, 5.04, 5.67, 6.3, 6.93, 7.56, 8.19, 8.82, 9.45, 10.08, 10.71, 11.34, 11.97, 12.6, 13.23, 13.86, 14.49, 15.12, 15.75, 16.38, 17.01, etc.

These values relate simultaneously to navigational and lunar-cycle coding. The Greek foot was 12.6" and the Greek/Hebrew reed was 126" or 10.5 English feet. The Assyrian cubit @ 25.2" was 2 Greek feet. The values 189, 378 & 756 were the quarter, half and full lengths of the Great Pyramid. The sum of 100.8' represented 1-second of equatorial arc. A "foot" measurement identified to Herodotus by Egyptian priests was 11.34" (of which here were 800 in the length of the pyramid). The sum of 1701-days would equate to 1/4th of the 6804-day lunar nutation cycle. The value 3.15 was one of the forms of PI used in certain calculations and the Sarsen Circle inner rim (based upon one of the cross-measures @ 100') is coding PI and half (so-called) Greek long stadia (630'). As mentioned, the other cross-measure was 100.8' or 1-second of arc.

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130636800' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system).

Brian Campbell's North-South measurement was 16.09 mm which equates to .63346457". The intended code was .6336" (396/625ths) and the shortfall was only about 1/7200th of an inch.

This value was a specialised number for determining the equatorial size of the Earth, in Egyptian Royal Cubits, under 3 systems of navigation:

DISTANCE TO THE INNER RIM OF THE 1ST OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is .672" East-West and and the progression goes:

.672, 1.344, 2.016, 2.688, 3.36, 4.032, 4.704, 5.376, 6.048, 6.72, 7.392, 8.064, 8.736, 9.408, 10.08, etc. The progression goes on to generate all the values for 1-second of arc (100.8'), 1-minute of arc (6048') and 1-degree of arc (362880') under the Great Pyramid's literal navigational system that used the 5250' mile.

As stated, the Irish mile was 6720' or 1.28 X greater than the so-called Greek mile.

All of these measurement standards combined are clearly demonstrated in the layouts of ancient British sites like Avebury Henge, Durrington Wall's Henge, Brodgar, etc., in the distances and angles that outer marker stones or mounds sit away from the centre hubstone or obelisk.

On such sites, a number like 67.2-degrees might represent the angle around from North from the hubstone. Likewise, an outer marker stone, boulder-cairn or mound might sit away from the hub position 672'. By this means ancient druids and their forebears could encode their astronomical, calendar and navigational science into the landscape in numbers. Those same numbers are encoded into mnemonic devices like the dodecahedron artefacts and were used to keep the numbers of civilisation at the forefront of memory.

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130636800' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system).

The North-South diameter is .6875" (11/16ths") and the progression goes:

.6875, 1.375, 2.0625, 2.75, 3.475, 4.125, 4.8125, 5.5, 6.1875, 6.875, 7.5625, 8.25, 8.9375, 9.625, 1.03125, 11, 11.6875, 12.375, 13.0625, 13.75, 14.4375, 15.125, 15.8125, 16.5, etc. The string grows to 20.625, 24.75, 60.50 and 68.75, etc.

This progression identifies how to divide up the equatorial circumference of the Earth into minutes, degrees and the whole world circuit values under the so-called English 5280' mile system of navigation.

This system is, symbolically at least, based upon the length of the Great Pyramid of Egypt elongated by a mere 3-inches (756' to 756.25'). Two circumnavigations then equate to 6050' for 1-minute of equatorial arc. The progression generates the Egyptian Royal cubit value related to this navigational system (20.625"). It later identifies the 1/8th, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4ths & full values for 1-minute of equatorial arc. Under this system the value 68.75-miles would be 1-degree of arc and 24750 miles (68.75 X 360) would be the assigned value for the full equatorial circumference.

It seems obligatory that there would have been an incised cut or mark in the paving stones at the base of the Great Pyramid, showing this 3" elongation.

DISTANCE TO THE TROUGH CENTRE OF THE 1ST OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is .7" East-West and the progression this generates is:

.7, 1.4, 2.1, 2.8, 3.5, 4.2, 4.9, 5.6, 6.3, 7, 7.7, 8.4, 9.1, 9.9, 10.5, 11.2, 11.9, 12.6, etc. The progression continues to generate numbers like 5250, 6804, etc., all the way up to 130636800', the equatorial circumference of the Earth in miles of 5250'.

In the above lineup are the calendar numbers 7, 14, 21, & 28, describing week, bi-week, tri-week and month durations (under the agrarian Sabbatical calendar system). Other numbers occurring relate to the measurement system adopted by the Greeks for their foot (12.6"), reed (10.5"), short stadia (5.5'), long stadia (630') and mile. Lunar numbers like 6804 are also represented, as are ancient and traditional weights related numbers like 14 (ounces in a pound) or 112 (hundredweight in a ton).

The North-South diameter is .7142857142" which, despite its complex appearance in decimal form, is simply 5/7ths"

The ancient druids and their distant forebears in the cousin civilisations of antiquity worked in all the number families and 7-based numbers or fractions were no exception. The increments adopted by the Greeks for their overland measurements, volumes and grain weights were divisible by both 6 & 7.

DISTANCE TO THE OUTER RIM OF THE 1ST CONCENTRIC RING.

The diameter East -West is .729" and this generates the following progression:

.729, 1.458, 2.187, 2.916, 3.645, 4.374, 5.103, 5.832, 6.561, 7.29, 8.019, 8.748, 9.477, 10.206, 10.935, 11.664, etc. The progression goes on to produce 58.32 and 4860, all the way to 130636800' for the equatorial circumference of the Earth or 26880 Roman miles.

The sum of 7.29" would be 1/8th of a Roman Pace of 58.32". The length 11.664" was the Roman foot and 5000 such feet was the Roman mile of 4860'.

Of course, this system of measurement predates the Romans by at least 2000-years and is found encoded within the distances & angles of standing stones and mound structures, emanating out from the hub centres at sites like Avebury Henge in Southern England and dating to 3000 BC or before.

The North -South diameter is .7425". The progression generated is:

.7425, 1.485, 2.2275, 2.97, 3.7125, 4.455, 5.1975, 5.94, 6.6825, 7.425, 8.1675, 8.91, etc. The progression advances to 130680000', which would equate to 24750 English miles of 5280' or 22000 Scottish miles of 5940' (1-furlong longer than the English mile).

DISTANCE TO THE INNER RIM OF THE 2ND OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is .945" and the same progression as is found on Face 8.

The North -South measurement is .96" and this same progression is found on Face 3.

THE DISTANCE TO THE CENTRE TROUGH OF THE 2ND OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

The East-West diameter is .972" and the progression it generates is:

.972, 1.944, 2.916, 3.888, 4.86, 5.832, 6.804, 7.776, 8.748, 9.72, 10.692, 11.664, 12.636, 13.608, 14.58, 15.552, 16.524, 17.496, 18.468, 19.44, etc.

Again, this string relates to what Julius Caesar said about the druidic preoccupation of lecturing concerning "the magnitude of the Earth and its divisions", in values of 1/2, 1/4, 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/32nd, 1/64tn, 1/128th, 1/256th, etc. In this line-up the sum of 1555.2-miles would be 1/8th of the 24883.2-mile circumference.

This distance is simply 1 British Standard inch, which isn't necessarily British at all, but has a much older pedigree and origin. It was the universal "inch", used by all of the cousin civilisations that emerged from remotest antiquity through to the AD era and into modern times.

The North-South measurement .99 ". The progression that stems from this goes:

.99, 1.98, 2.97, 3.96, 4.95, 5.94, 6.93, 7.92, 8.91, 9.9, 10.89, 11.88, 12.87, 13.86, 14.85, 15.84, 16.83, 17.82, 18.81, 19.8, etc. The progression goes on to produce 24.75, 29.7, 59.4, etc. Again, this all relates to navigating by the ancient Scottish mile of 5940' or the English mile of 5280'.

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130680000' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5280' mile system).

DISTANCE TO THE OUTER RIM OF THE 2ND OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

The East -West measurement is, again, 1" (British Standard inch).

The North-South measurement is 1.024" and a progression stemming from this would run:

1.024, 2.048, 3.072, 4.096, 5.12, 6.144, 7.168, 8.192, 9.216, etc. The progression goes on to generate 1536, 2560 and ultimately to 130636800' for a full equatorial circumference of 24883.2 Greek miles.

DISTANCE TO THE INNER RIM OF THE 3RD OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

This is 1.05", but would have been dual read as 1.056" to code both the 5250' & 5280' mile navigational systems simultaneously.

The North-South reading produces 1.0752".

This codes the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the navigational system that used a mile of 5250'. The progression runs:

1.0752, 2.1504, 3.2256, 4.3008, 5.376, 6.4512, 7.5264, 8.6106, 9.6768, 10.752. The progression advances to the number 6531.84, which then doubles to 13063.6800, showing the numerical line-up, at reduced size, for the 130636800' equatorial circumference of the Earth that used the Greek mile of 5250'.

DISTANCE TO THE CENTRE TROUGH OF THE 3RD OUTWARDS CONCENTRIC RING

Predictably, the East-West measurement is 1.075555555" continuous. The progression advances to the number 6534, which then doubles to 13068.0000, showing the numerical line-up, at reduced size, for the 130680000' equatorial circumference of the Earth that used the English mile of 5280'.

The North-South measurement is 1.111111111" continuous.

The 1.11111 code simply breaks the number 10 down into 9ths. It goes:

1.11111, 2.22222, 3.33333, 4.44444, 5.55555, 6.66666, 7.77777, 8.88888, 9.99999, 10.

DISTANCE TO THE OUTER RIM OF THE 3RD INWARDS CONCENTRIC CIRCLE

The East-West diameter is 1.12" and relates to traditional values, at various epochs, for creating systems of weights. The progression also relates to navigation and the equatorial circumference of the Earth. This progression goes:

1.12, 2.24, 3.36, 4.48, 5.6, 6.72, 7.84, 8.96, 10.08, 11.2, 12.32, 13.44, 14.56, 15.68, 16.8, 17.92, 19.04, 20.16, etc. The progression goes on to generate numbers like 22.68, 28 or 30.24.

Based upon older precedents, the English ton was 2240 pounds (lbs) or 20 hundredweight (cwt) of 112 lbs each. In the English pound weight there are 16 ounces of 437.5 grains each or 7000 grains total. In the English stone weight there are 224 ounces. The value 100.8' would be 1-second of equatorial arc, whereas 2016' would be 1/3rd of 1-minute of arc and 3024' 1/2 a minute of arc under the Great Pyramid base perimeter system.

The progression advances to finally generate the value 130636800' (the equatorial circumference of the Earth under the 5250' mile system). The 130636800' circumference ÷ 112 = 1166400 (Note: the Roman foot was 11.664").

The North-South diameter is 1.152" and the progression generated goes:

1.152, 2.304, 3.456, 4.608, 5.76, 6.192, 8.604, 9.216, 10.368, 11.52, 12.672, 13.824, 14.976, 16.128, 17.28, 18.432, 19.584, 20.736, etc. The progression goes on to generate 288, 3110.4, 3456, 12441.6 or 24883.2.

This coding represents the equatorial size of the Earth for navigation according to English miles of 5280' each, which falls short of the true equatorial circumference (24902) by only 18.8-miles.

This navigational coding using the "11" family of overland measurements is found at Stonehenge on the outer rim of the Sarsen Circle, which was intended to convey a coded circumference of 345.6'.

This was based upon one inner rim cross measure of 100' + 5' width of the lintel stones sitting atop the Sarsen pillars of the circle = 110'. The evidence shows that when the ancient mathematicians made "11" family numbers convert to circumferences, they used PI @ 1728/550ths. Therefore 110' X 3.141818182 = 345.6' for the circuit of the outer rim.

There were originally 30 horizontally-lying lintel stones, therefore 345.6' ÷ 30 = 11.52' per lintel outer face. The entire circumference was also 200 of the largest Egyptian Royal Cubits @ 20.736" each. The outer rim of the Sarsen Circle (345.6 ... read as miles) was supposed to represent 1/72nd of the Earth's equatorial circumference. Likewise, the generated value of 3110.4-miles represented 1/8th of the circumference or 45-degrees of arc. The sum of 11.52-miles would be 1/2160th of the 24883.2-mile circumference.

likewise, 24883.2 ÷ 360 = 69.12-miles for 1-degree of arc ÷ 60 = 1.152-miles for 1-minute of arc.

All the way through the circle features of the dodecahedron the nominated diameter codes, listed above, best represent the circuits and the encoding intention of the druidic fabricators. There is a small area of overflow on the last elliptical circle, where the artisan, incising the circles, ran out of room.
